Stars of Africa football academy nurtures young people into top footballers and individuals both on and off the pitch.
Our PHILOSOPHY aims to give young talent a chance to flourish and strongly encourage values such as desire, respect, teamwork and effort. We strive to play an attractive brand of football that focuses on an elaborate build-up from the back together with attack-minded ball possession that is efficient in front of goal and at the same time encourages players to express their creativity.
Our OBJECTIVE is to develop complete players that can initiate play, participate in build-up and finish of the play. That said, winning is not the ultimate goal but rather for players to take their learnings from training and translate that into match day. Players are guided by Stars of Africa coaches, who support them with decision making, encourage them to take calculated risks and ensure that the players themselves are always at the heart of their own learning process.

Stars of Africa Football Academy is commited to becoming a force in youth development and coach education in Africa. The foundation of it’s business is based on the provision of personal attention and excellence to the players and coaches that form part of the academy. We also empower community based projects by assisting them with coaching and development. We aim to provide a platform for aspiring footballers to develop their skills, knowledge, and character, enabling them to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

TRAINING
Our training is strongly influenced by coach Farouks development as a coach. He has coached at the highest level (Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns) and is also a youth development specialist which assists is in knowing exactly what is required from our players in order for them to turn professional.

Many young talented South African footballers are unable to fulfill their dreams and potential of making it as a pro footballer, even those who do make it, are unable to compete at the highest levels of football. Our training program is not a one size fits all situation. We understand the needs of youth development and what is needed to compete at the highest levels in football by providing personalized training that is age appropriate and skill-specific.
